Bear drove me home this morning, right after breakfast. Coming back from his house always feels like coming back from vacation. I didn’t have to go to work today since Local College has Easter Monday as a day off.
I finished the National Geographic April issue with the article on acidification of the ocean. The weather and amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere changed in other eras, but not so rapidly. The life in the oceans can’t keep up. The whole article and the situation is just very sad.
“Doctor Who” S6E1 I liked it. I liked it a lot. I will hope for good things from this season. Since I got used to Amy and I love Rory and River, and based on this episode, I have hope that I will like this season better than the last one. But then I liked the first episode of Season 5 too. We’ll see. But so far so good. River and Eleven flirting is adorable. “He’s hot when he’s clever” The flirting definitely went up a notch. Mark Shepard is awesome as usual. This episode was nice and creepy. And the monsters are pretty scary. Oh, River and talking about her future death. Stop breaking my heart. Funniest lines: “Two of them fancied me” and “You won’t shoot” “They are American” “Don’t shoot.” And “Do not compliment the intruder” Hee.
For entertainment sake I rewatched “Brothers and Sisters” pilot on Netflix – amusing to watch now. Still consistent in character. But in five years the show moved on from so many plots.
