The day started well, so, of course, that meant my head decided not to be. I was just standing in the kitchen, showing pictures from yesterday to Bear's Mom when I went my blood pressure do something and I broke into sweat and started feeling faint. I sat on the couch, then got some water, and it passed but the ghost of it kept lingering and preventing me from fully enjoying my day. I keep trying to push beyond it but my head is annoying at times. Nonetheless, I went ahead with the day's plans despite how I might feel and with that need to sit down more.

Bear and I went to see "X-Men: Days of Future Past." I don't go to the movie theaters often anymore - there isn't much I want to see on the big screen as opposed to DVD. But I really wanted to go see this one since X-Men is my favorite superhero franchise. And I really enjoyed it.

As soon as the movie finished I said to Bear, "So they want to pretend the third movie didn't happen too." I liked that ending - although it was a bit too happy - I like both Jean and Scott (but together - so that was good). The wacky timelines don't bother me - I handwave it mostly. And I also handwave Kitty Price's new powers too. Although I'm curious to see if Wolverine has adamantium claws or not in this new timeline. I thought Michael Fassbender was just channeling Ian McKellan in the plane scene - that was fantastic. And Magneto is always a great villain, with his own motivations. Plus Mystique actually got to decide for herself at the end, which was great. It is still very much a boy movie, with women characters not really interacting with each other but unlike in Batman franchise it doesn't bother me as much because I like all the characters. And slashy feelings of this movie were great. And Hugh Jackman pushing for the nude scene was definitely a great decision on his part. (I get to shallow about Hugh Jackman's body and Bear gets to be shallow over Jennifer Lawrence in her Mystique get up - fun for all). So I really enjoyed watching this movie - (I really didn't like "Wolverine" so it was nice to see a fun movie again).

And after the movie, Bear and I drove home. I'm back at my own apartment. At least for a few days.
