Here it is. The last day of winter break. Back to work tomorrow with cold temperatures and a snow storm in the forecast. Joy. At least I'm commuting with Rosemary on the way there tomorrow, which shouldn't be too bad.
My big accomplishment today was cooking something new. I was defrosting beef and I wanted something different so I was looking up a bunch of recipes. At the end, I decided to go with Betty Crocker's Beef Stroganoff recipe. It came out well, I think. I did have to go out to get beef broth and mushrooms, but that actually made me take a walk so that was good.
I also caught up on "Downton Abbey" and "Sherlock" premiere, both of which were fabulous.
Bear was also home today, since it is a holiday in the US - Martin Luther King day.
