It is my Grandfather’s birthday today – he is 84! I made sure to call him to wish him a happy birthday. Bear and I were supposed to drive to Brooklyn with presents today (I got him the Russian version of “Girl with Dragon Tattoo” and Papa got him a book and a cd; my grandfather, like my father and I, is a big reader) but because Bear had to go home this morning, I would have to wait until this weekend when Papa will get back from his vacation. But that’s ok, that will be fun too and we will do a gift exchange.

I finished “Catching Fire” today.
